Interior Designer

Interior project designer role in Singapore, experience working on commercial office projects is required. Our client is a Leading Architectural & Interior Design Group in Singapore and around Asia.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design brief and showcase your ability to lead client interactions.
• Conduct a project debrief with the design team, effectively managing the team assigned to the pitch.
• Create and develop conceptual and schematic design solutions.
• Collaborate with the assigned team to prepare pitch documents, including presentation decks, concept boards, material boards, and FF&E specifications.
• Work with the procurement team to establish a checklist and tracker upon contract award.
• Lead the design and documentation team during the construction phase, providing on-site and off-site solutions that balance aesthetics with the client's functional and operational expectations.
• Attend weekly client and site meetings with Project Manager.
• Offer ongoing recommendations for enhancements to the client throughout their engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in interior design, YOU MUST have experience in the commercial OFFICE field.
• Strong design skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations in Singapore.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred.
