Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the application support teams, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of application incidents, requests, and problems.
- Manage L2 and L3 teams to improve application stability, performance, and reliability.
- Coach and Mentor L2 and L3 teams to upskill and uplift.
- Ensure the technical support provided to stakeholders is within the agreed SLA (24 x 7)
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for application changes.
- Lead the teams to continually improve the end user experience and customer satisfaction
- Champion high levels of IT service and support in projects by developing a strong understanding of how projects may impact service areas, and planning measures to minimize such impact
- Uphold the quality of IT service and performance and suggest improvement wherever required.
- Manage vendor performance through service level management and business engagement
- To lead and support the evaluation of the potential operational impact resulting from any regulatory changes or legislations which affect business compliance arrangements, procedures, processes and awareness
- Review existing policies and controls, and suggest improvements to enhance internal frameworks and processes
- Provide full support on internal and external audit and compliance related activities
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant fields
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in leading and managing application support teams.
- 5+ years of experience in Linux administration, Kubernetes, and Nutanix environments.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu).
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (e.g., deployment, scaling, monitoring).
- Familiarity with Nutanix architecture and management.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Understanding of networking, security, and storage solutions.
- Good team player with positive attitude.
- Experience in contract and vendor management
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Analytical and strong resource management
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels in the organization
