About the role:

This is a key role in our growing, fast-moving organization, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Job Description

Accounting-related

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual management and financial reporting processes in compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and manage allocation between inventory and fixed assets, ensuring timely accounting of the items and support to relevant departments
  • Stewardship of full sets of accounts and reconciliation for all group companies among few countries
  • Manage and monitor monthly intercompany transactions
  • Audit process delivery in ensuring oversight of statutory audit process for all group companies
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and regulatory requirements
  • Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for financial improvement
  • Participate in financial analysis and forecast process with Finance Director and CFO

Tax-related

  • Tax compliance in ensuring accurate tax computation, compliance and timely submission
  • Experience with international tax, especially in Indonesia and the Philippines.

Systems-related

  • Implement and recommend modifications to accounting systems and processes
  • Design and manage financial databases and filing systems

Others

  • Preferred 12+ year relevant experience; self motivated, keen attention to details and can work independently
  • Experience in telecommunications is a plus
  • Comfortable with managing multi-cultural colleagues and direct reports remotely
  • Provided leadership and participate in recruiting and training
  • Adhoc task as required
