Overview of the project

The objective of this project is to develop advanced robotic and automation control systems to enhance the efficiency and quality of welding processes within the semiconductor industry.

Main objectives and responsibilities

The candidate will be involved in the research, design, and implementation of robotic systems, including the integration of software for movement control, 3D design for mechatronic systems, and vision systems for quality detection in semiconductor manufacturing.

Tasks and duties

  • Develop and program robots/cobots using various PLCs like Arduino PLC, Omron, Schneider, Siemens, Allen Bradleys, OMRON, GE Fanuc.
  • Design creative 3D models using Solidworks, Fusion 360, or Onshape for mechatronics systems.
  • Implement 2D and 3D vision systems for robots, including pick and place or quality detection tasks.
  • Develop user interfaces using HMI software and relevant programming languages.
  • Design electrical power controls for VSD, DOL motors, and relay logic for hardwired panels.
  • Apply automation sensors and actuators effectively.

Required Skills

  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science with a focus on Industrial Automation software.
  • Proficiency in 3D visualization using Solidworks, Fusion 360, or Onshape.
  • Intermediate to advanced programming skills in languages such as Python, VB, C, C++, Java, C#.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong technical and commercial communication skills for interacting with customers.
