  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Barrington James is currently looking for an Operations and Maintenance Engineer for one of our Global MNC client. This is an exciting opportunity to work and liaise with various end clients in the Energy & Facilities Management department.

Salary: SGD 3,000 - 5,000

Location: Singapore, Central

Job Summary:

The Operations and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment, systems, and facilities. This role involves monitoring system performance, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime. The engineer also ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations and collaborates with other teams to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Monitoring & Optimization:
  • Monitor and control equipment to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
  • Analyze system data to optimize performance and reduce operational costs.
  1. Preventative & Reactive Maintenance:
  • Develop and execute maintenance schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures, coordinating repairs as needed.
  1. Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure all activities meet safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and participate in emergency response planning.
  1. Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Work with cross-functional teams on operations, maintenance, and system upgrades.
  • Manage external contractors for maintenance and repair services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS)

Skills:

  • Problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in SCADA/PLC systems and maintenance tools.
