Job Descriptions:

  • Collaborate effectively with other domain specialists to design complex solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions and system designs to meet those needs.
  • Create solution designs, project documentation, and Bills of Material based on customer requirements.
  • Conduct in-house evaluations and Proof of Concept trials in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Liaise with principal vendors to understand their products, solutions, and pricing.
  • Assist project engineers during technical project implementation and provide training as needed.
  • Handle system administration, network support, and troubleshooting in both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues.
  • Upgrade network hardware and software as required, ensuring compliance with the Cybersecurity Act and Cybersecurity Code of Practice (CCOP).
  • Address ad-hoc tasks as needed by the technical team.
  • Document functional specifications for network designs and implementations, including necessary routing.
  • Stay updated on the latest networking trends and solutions in the market.
  • Obtain and maintain vendor certifications as required to uphold company partnership status.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in network design and planning.
  • Proficient in both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating environments (Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.).
  • At least 3 years of experience in complex project implementations.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, cryptography, security protocols, and TCP/IP networking.
  • Knowledge of risk management, disaster recovery, business continuity, and IT regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in architecting or deploying enterprise virtualization solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with on-premise/hybrid and cloud networking models.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Hands-on experience installing hardware like servers, network switches, cables, hubs, routers, and setting up the necessary software environments and applications.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in CCTV and Audio/Video systems.
  • Experience with IP communication technologies such as IP PBX, video conferencing, and network management systems.
  • Possession of certifications such as CCNP Routing & Switching, CCNP Wireless, CISSP, or equivalents in networking and security technologies is an added advantage.
