- You are responsible to drive all procurement (purchasing & sourcing) activities from demand to delivery.
- The role involves material purchasing, sourcing, planning and inventory management.
- Establish strong connection with internal & external stakeholder to support company procurement needs.
- Manage short cycle demands, customer emergencies and forced outages, expedite past-due, urgent demands.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers and deliveries.
- Ensure all purchases meet the company's quality, technical specifications & delivery timeline.
- Identify/evaluate potential suppliers meeting Company’ technical & machining requirement .
- Collaborate with engineering and application teams to understand technical requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Develop and implement purchasing tactic to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels & manage replenishment in relation with sales team & demand.
- Evaluate and improve purchasing processes and procedures.
- Work minimum 5 to 10 years in tool shop manufacturing micro-mechanics’ part.
- Strong experience on technical drawing understanding & able to map the manufacturing process Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Buyer or in a similar role.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
