About The Role

The Position

The Global Marketing Team partners with client-facing colleagues to drive marketing efforts that communicate the firm’s investment capabilities, culture, and brand. We plan and execute global marketing programs which position the firm’s thought leadership, capabilities, culture and brand with the objective of retaining clients and growing our business.

The Events & Marketing Analyst, based in our APAC office, will partner with regional Marketing colleagues to effectively execute marketing events such as roundtables, workshops, lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, conferences, for clients and prospects. In addition, the candidate will be assigned additional duties to support other team members within the APAC marketing team. The successful candidate will have relevant experience within the finance industry and proven strong project management skills. The successful candidate will have exemplary attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all aspects of event management from initial planning, resource sourcing, pre-event marketing and communications, on-site coordination, to post-event follow-up.
  • Liaise with and manage all vendors and suppliers throughout the process.
  • Coordinate with various business and administrative departments to ensure timely delivery of event details for resource deployment.
  • Plan and execute events throughout their entire lifecycle, including both digital and virtual formats.
  • Manage virtual event planning and project management, including virtual platform oversight.
  • Handle financial management to ensure all event preparations stay within budget, including expense management, invoice processing, and financial reporting.
  • Perform additional marketing duties (e.g. materials update & operational support) as assigned to support the marketing team and enhance overall productivity.


Qualifications

We are looking for candidates that have the ability to demonstrate strong business maturity and work proactively in a fast-paced small office environment. The ideal candidate would also possess:

  • 5+ years of event management/marketing experience within Financial Services, preferably in asset management
  • Strong communication in English and Chinese
  • Experienced in in-person and virtual events management
  • Detail-oriented, strong project management skills, ability to exercise sound business judgement, proactive in creative problem solving and able to escalate issues when needed
  • Ability to effectively multi-task in a high paced, fast-moving environment; exhibit grace under pressure
  • Ability to work independently under tight timeframes
  • Comfortable learning new systems and working on creative solutions
  • Team player orientation, a positive attitude and terrific work ethic
  • Previous experience in workflow tool and/or Global Marketing a plus
