Our client is a reputable company leading in the commodity industry with over 100 years of history and Singapore is their Asia regional headquarter. They experienced tremendous year on year growth in Asia market and with this strategy in mind, they are recruiting for a Regional Treasury Lead to provide support in driving treasury, FX hedging as well as review of trade finance matters.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Treasury, you will be in charge of the Asia regional treasury activities and leading one junior treasury analyst. You will be responsible for the group's treasury management and hedging strategies, negotiate financing terms with bankers, leading cash and FX hedging strategies. On top of this, you will review of the trade finance matters and monitor the credit risk across the countries. Additionally, you will be working with senior leadership team to provide support in driving treasury and financing projects for their Singapore treasury function.
Your Profile
To be a successful candidate, you must have a Degree in Accounting/business/human resources, with min 10 years of working experience related treasury sector. Experience working with commodities sector is highly preferred. Must have capacity to work with senior stakeholders. Additionally, you must have experience in FX Hedging before and demonstrate effective business partnership skills to liaise with multiple internal stakeholders.
