Engineering Supervisor

Report: Reporting to the Operations Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Supervisor of the Engineering department will oversee the overall maintenance of the property, building, mechanical and electrical operations in our Serviced Residence. This includes managing the work of the engineering team, vendors / contractors, inspecting maintenance work and troubleshooting, your responsibility will include:

• Ensure that the engineering team is well prepared and meets the property service standards.
• Daily walk around inspections, ensuring all lighting are working properly, and no damage of any kind to the buildings, facilities and the surrounding.
• Any damage / repair must be resolve within the shortest time possible, swiftly and professionally.
• Promote good teamwork and coordination with other departments.
• Coordinate, install and inspect repairs and maintain all electrical, plumping mechanical and other related systems in all locations.
• Coordinate renovations of exiting facilities and the construction of new facilities.
• Ensure that the preventive maintenance program is implemented and carried out routinely.
• Contribute to effective inventory control systems.
• Make and recommendations for the adjustments or modifications to improve the system.
• To be part of the Emergency Response plans and relevant safety procedures.
• Assist in evacuation in an emergency’s situation.
• Handling of any other tasks as assigned by the management.

Requirement:

The ideal candidate will be someone with strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to details, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.

• Ideal candidates with a bachelor’s degree or a diploma in engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar positions or 3 years as a senior engineer.
• Good knowledge of building, mechanical and electrical engineering (M&E) technical skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,500.00 per month
