The Lab Technician is responsible for handling and packaging all incoming and outbound components to company according industry standard and completing all mechanical inspection processes with precision and efficiency and supporting the Engineering team with volume testing. Draft the relate reports in needed. Company procedures and policies are to be followed at all times and strictly adhered to standards. All employees are expected to help colleagues within their working team or in another department when required to balance work load and to ask questions and make recommendations for any areas that require improvement..
Job Responsibilities:
1. Careful and timely performance of laboratory tests using various analytical methods: visual inspection, X-ray inspection, component opening, X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF), etc.
2. Operation of laboratory equipment
3. Data entry in the laboratory's Pegasus system
4. Calibration, maintenance and care of the analytical equipment and work equipment
5. Support for process development and optimization
6. Collaboration on research projects in the field of materials analysis
7. Participation in projects for the introduction of new services
Job Requirements:
1. Completed vocational training, preferably as a physical-technical assistant, physics laboratory technician or materials tester
2. Efficient and careful way of working
3. Analytical thinking and understanding of complex interrelationships
4. Interest in interdisciplinary cooperation in the laboratory team
5. Confident handling of common software applications
6.Willingness for training and further education
