Astek is offering an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst cum Delivery Lead to join our project based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end management of digitization and automation projects, including potential analysis, conceptualization, development support, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Gather requirements and manage stakeholders by engaging with cross-functional teams at the leadership level, ensuring alignment with business goals and maintaining accountability with business leadership.
- Develop and maintain middle-to-back office functions for private market processes, such as deal execution, transaction booking (including capital calls, cash distributions, and invoices), and valuations.
- Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify business needs, challenges, and opportunities. Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to collect detailed requirements and insights, and translate these into actionable user stories.
- Utilize story-telling and data modeling techniques to derive conclusive results from experiments, identify various personas, and establish key performance metrics for business and product success.
- Lead the domain-aligned Business Analysis (BA) team in collaboratively defining business solutions, processes, rules, and requirements that align with organizational goals, strategies, and value delivery.
- Guide discussions, analyze, and conceptualize IT solutions that align with business requirements. Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to validate these solutions.
- Perform data analysis to uncover patterns and create models that support business processes.
- Present IT solutions to both business and IT stakeholders, detailing how they address business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Lead Agile practices and coordinate scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with minimum 8-10 years of experience in technology business analysis or software development, especially in investment/banking applications.
- Expertise in documenting BRD, FSD, use cases in Gherkin format, visual modeling, and business processes.
- Proficient in ETL processes, SQL, and APIs.
- Ability to investigate, analyze, and document requirements using standard techniques.
- Capable of managing ambiguity, risk, and changing project directions.
- Attention to detail with a hands-on approach.
- Skilled in data analysis, pattern recognition, and model development.
- Experienced in Product Management and Agile Methodology.
- Solid understanding of the investment business domain and financial applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
