Maintenance/Building Technician (Hotel)
We are looking for experienced building technician to be part of our Engineering Team to perform maintenance and repair on our building services in the hotel.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the effective operations and maintenance of all mechanical & electrical systems and equipment in the hotel.
Carry out maintenance on all mechanical and electrical installations and equipment and building services in the hotel including air-condition, refrigeration, mechanical ventilation, water tanks etc.
Perform assigned preventive maintenance for all guest room & public areas
Perform maintenance on plumbing and sanitary systems in the hotel
Carry out basic repair work such as painting, repair of ironmongery, adjustment of door closers, repair of furniture
Ensure compliance to building and fire safety rules and regulations
Ensure to report any abnormality to appointed contractors and/or supervisors.
To carry out the above-mentioned corrective and routine preventive maintenance tasks as detailed by the Engineering Manager
Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Engineering Manager
Requirements:
Possess at least Certificate/NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Management or Building Services or equivalent
At least 1-2 years’ experience in engineering, maintenance and repair work particularly in Hotel Industry will be of advantage.
Experience in air conditioning systems will be of advantage
Able to lift heavy loads and equipment and able to communicate in English
Team player and able to work independently
Able to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment
Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
