Reporting to the management team and leading 1 subordinate, the successful incumbent will lead procurement activities, develop strategies, manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and support sustainability and risk management, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with the organization's goals.
- Full-time, permanent opportunity
- Work location: South-West region
- Work hours: Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 6pm
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to improve cost-efficiency, sustainability, and growth, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Conduct market analysis to stay updated on industry trends and engage innovative suppliers.
- Standardize and enforce procurement policies and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards, while monitoring activities for continuous improvement.
- Lead contract development with legal, oversee tendering and procurement processes, and negotiate optimal terms with vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and regularly evaluate supplier performance based on sustainability, quality, and cost criteria.
- Implement sustainable procurement practices, including green ICT for Data Centers, incorporating environmental criteria in procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure procurement aligns with business needs, while contributing to enterprise risk management through risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Assist with certifications, audits, and cross-functional projects to enhance procurement's role in business strategy and digital transformation.
- At least 4 years of procurement experience in data center environment coupled with a strong track record in managing complex procurement processes including managing large-scale contracts and vendor negotiations.
- Experience in sustainable procurement, especially in green ICT will be highly advantageous.
- Ability to be agile and adaptable to evolving environments and business needs.
