Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Mechanical aspects of new initiatives as the project manager.
  • Applied Research and Development to design and enhance existing and new products, components, and systems.
  • Generate innovative ideas and concepts through thorough research work for new projects.
  • Plan, design, and execute research and development projects adhering to established international standards and principles.
  • Estimate project costs, required resources, and timelines effectively.
  • Document progress and activities throughout the research and development process.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including calculations, design drawings, and specifications for prototype development.
  • Analyse test results, collaborate with the research and development team, and communicate findings effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and project management.
  • Background in designing heavy machinery and/or crane equipment is a plus.
  • Practical experience on-site is advantageous.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD modeling, preferably using Inventor, and knowledgeable in PDM systems.
  • Familiarity with GD&T, industrial standards, steel design, welding, DFMA, hydraulics, and transmission design would be a plus
