We’re on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic Level 1 Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Singapore ! You'll be supporting the employees of a well-known, global brand in the food industry, ensuring their technical needs are met efficiently and effectively. What You’ll Do
- Be the first point of contact for employees needing help with their desktops, laptops, mobile devices, or other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on both Windows and Mac platforms, as well as mobile devices running iOS and Android.
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, mobile phones, and other peripherals.
- Provide easy-to-follow guidance for users installing new applications.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in our internal system and escalate complex issues to the next level of support when necessary.
- Assist with asset management, office moves, and onsite support, ensuring devices are inventoried and functioning smoothly.
- Offer "White Glove" VIP support to key users, providing fast troubleshooting, proactive support, and tailored training on new tools.
- Work closely with other teams, following instructions to handle smart hands and eyes tasks for network devices and IMAC processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Technical expertise: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) and certifications like CompTIA A+ or MCP.
- Hands-on experience: At least 18 months of experience in IT support, with a solid grasp of troubleshooting.
- Problem-solving skills: You love taking on challenges and finding creative solutions to technical issues.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are a must.
- Flexibility: You’re adaptable, ready to handle a dynamic work environment, and available for occasional off-hours or weekend shifts.
