The Opportunity

The position is responsible for leading the LSS business in Singapore. This role will help build and drive a customer centric organization to grow sales and profitability in mentioned territory. This position has accountability and authority for both direct and distributor sales activities in the mentioned territory and do develop new business opportunities in accordance with global strategic business unit strategy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in science related fields, MBA will be an added advantage. Strong fluency in science degree is preferred
  • Experiences: Preferably 5 years sales leadership experience in an MNC environment
  • Strong people and process management with a proven track record of growing sales, achieving targets and developing leaders
  • Solution selling, negotiations skills, managing major accounts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent leadership qualities

How You Will Thrive And Create An Impact

  • Develop growth strategies for the key focus segments (Key and Strategic Partners Accounts, Academia & Healthcare, Industrial & Biotech and Resellers )in the Singapore market.
  • Create an enabling organisation structure both in the commercial as well as the support organisations to help deliver the strategy
  • Deliver on the sales, EBITDA and working capital target by creating a planning, tracking and execution mechanisms
  • Attract, hire, develop and retain the best possible team ensuring that there is an outstanding group of employees. Build a strong leadership bench strength in this strategic market
  • Leverage Avantor’s portfolio of to penetrate key accounts and deliver end to end work flow support for customer segments
  • Ensure that Avantor’s culture and values are embedded in the way we interact internally as well as with our various external stakeholders – customers, vendors, government and community
  • Execute Marketing plans and strategy in the market.
  • Set and deploy company vision, mission and Avantor Business System for Singapore.
  • Foster an environment which stimulates open communication, creativity, imagination and creates team spirit that solves problems and builds the business.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
