Job Responsibilities

  • Handle the day to day transaction on Fixed Assets module
  • Monthly Closing and Reconciliation of Fixed Assets module with General Ledger
  • Handle Rental Musical equipment accounting work with Retail and Inventory team
  • Assist in Fixed Assets sighting exercise
  • Work with Centre Managers and Divisional Managers on maintenance of Centre Fixed Assets listing
  • Handle all lease accounting work including lease amortization calculations in accordance with IFRS116 accounting standard
  • Liaise with auditors for annual audit
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and control
  • Organize all documents and files in both physical and digital storage

Hiring Criteria

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
  • Experience in using Oracle Netsuite preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of IFRS 116 accounting standard preferred
  • Positive Attitude with the ability to keep all financial details confidential
  • Independent worker, resourceful, able to work with little guidance
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Organizational skills
