An exciting Technical Sales for heavy machinery and construction equipment manufacturer has just become available at one of the most reputable international companies. This is a role for someone who has sales and technical experience in the construction field.
About the Technical Sales role:
In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for business expansion of the allocated business units and products in the local Singapore market. Your job includes managing accounts, providing technical advice and generating sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities for the construction machinery products.
• Executing direct sales activities in Singapore.
• Provide technical consultation and support to clients and partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and distributors.
• Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to post sales.
• Thorough understanding of the market and competitive landscape.
To succeed in the Technical Sales position, you will need experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry with strong commercial exposure in the local Singapore market.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant commercial experience in the construction machinery or related industries
• Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Hydraulics/ Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Experience working in relevant B2B manufacturing, heavy equipment or construction industry
• Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders at different professional level
• Strong analytical capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
