Greenview provides leading organizations globally with advisory services, program development & implementation, data & measurement solutions, reporting services, software as a service data platform, collaborative industry initiatives, and research services. As part of a growing field in a growing industry, Greenview seeks to solidify its presence and reputation as a thought leader for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, programs, measurement and reporting, as well as support implementation of sustainability practices, research, analytics, and data management across hotel portfolios globally via its Greenview Portal software and other in-house tools. Greenview has created and deployed several industry methodologies and tools for measuring various aspects of sustainability and pursuing net zero carbon emissions, which it also seeks to further enhance and roll out.

This position will likely be challenged with new knowledge on a weekly basis, be required to develop creative recommendations routinely, and be expected to hold routine client work and conference calls some evenings across a global team and clientele. Various team members and project managers based on specific assignments, and an assigned Direct Manager

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The primary role of the Analyst is to support project managers to execute on various deliverables set forth in client and industry collaboration projects regarding program development and implementation, measurement, reporting, software and data platform enhancements and research services contracted in the areas of ESG and sustainability for organizations. In this role, the Analyst will support project managers on assigned projects and client requests including:

  • Support the analysis of large datasets and identify trends, anomalies, and key findings.
  • Support advisory consultation to clients upon request regarding topics relating to corporate responsibility, sustainability, and ESG.
  • Support development of sustainability frameworks, governance, strategy, and program development for various companies locally, regionally, and globally.
  • Support assessments relating to environmental, social, and governance risk and impact for clients’ global portfolios.
  • Support workstreams to aid clients in implementing sustainability-related criteria and certifications across properties and portfolios.
  • Support qualitative landscape/benchmarking studies on corporate sustainability programs, goals, disclosures, performance, and rankings among companies, with corresponding data collection and analysis for client sustainability reporting, industry research, and data management needs.
  • Create guidelines, checklists, policies, procedures, and other related program content, to align with best practice and frameworks, and enable clients to carry out and enhance programs.
  • Support industrywide and destination-wide collaborative initiatives through coordinating functions and engagement for meetings, calls, workshops, trainings, presentations, and events.
  • Support development and enhancement of criteria, methodologies, frameworks, and other initiatives to support common advancement across the hospitality, travel, event, and other industries.
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for client meetings and/or calls.
  • Support various account management activities, such as monitoring usage levels, proactively engaging with users to gather feedback, and driving increased usage.
  • Utilize and improve tracking templates for both processes and performance data for client use, which incorporate the streamlining of various sustainability criteria.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in environmental science, environmental policy, sustainable business, research, hotel management, systems engineering, mathematics, and/or geography
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) with strong Excel skills preferred
  • Ability to explain complex data insights in a clear and understandable way to stakeholders.
  • Strong communications, writing (in English), analytical research, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and enjoy effective working relationships with people from a wide variety of organizations and with a wide variety of functional expertise
