Responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) product line, from conceptualization to launch and ongoing product optimization. This role requires a deep understanding of NGS technologies, customer needs, and market trends to drive product strategy, development, and commercial success.

Responsibilities

  • Manages AMEA pricing strategies and recommendations based on market analysis, competitive landscape, and analyze product related data, including revenue, contract, etc.
  • Plan product strategic development direction and formulate long-term competitive strategy for products. Plan the annual product development direction and formulate the annual product plan.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager on market Intelligence and trends to build robust marketing plans for NGS products portfolios.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams on voice of the customer. Identify opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product differentiation.
  • Project consultation: Evaluation and pre-sale technical proposal for customized services.
  • Lead new product development process, including voice of customer research, product requirements and value proposition, manage product launches.
  • Provide product training and support to internal teams, including sales, customer support, and technical services.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for NGS products, representing the company at conferences, industry events, and customer engagements.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in NGS technologies, genomics, and related fields to ensure product competitiveness and thought leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of product management experience, in the life sciences industry and with a focus on NGS products.
  • MS in Life Sciences and Biotechnology required; PhD highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of genomics and molecular technologies, NGS experience is preferred.
  • Strong product knowledge in Mass Spectrometry.
  • Project management, NGS workflows, and data analysis processes.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker, action driven, flexible in changing direction and methods, thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing multiple priorities, succeed in communicating within the organization.
  • Language Requirement: Given the extensive contact our group has with multiple internal and external parties, strong English and Mandarin written, verbal and interpersonal skills are essential.
