Job Responsibilities:
Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for existing SME Banking customers.
Collect all necessary information and documents from customers via email and phone calls.
Perform account activity reviews and analyze transaction data to identify potential risks.
Efficiently identify and monitor suspicious activities and transactions, escalating to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Conduct adverse news searches and name screening, ensuring proper escalation and follow-up actions are taken.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and guidelines.
Participate in and assist with projects related to AML/KYC matters.
Undertake other ad-hoc projects or activities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
At least 1-3 years of working experience; candidates with relevant experience may be considered with less than 1 year of experience would be advantage.
Knowledge of AML, sanctions, KYC, CDD, or related fields is an advantage.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive mindset.
Ability to apply technical knowledge and make sound judgments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong relationship management skills to facilitate effective cross-functional communication with front-line staff and compliance teams.
