PreSchool English Teacher:
* Plan, supervise, and implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, frameworks and philosophy of the centre. * Address each child's educational and developmental and keep accurate records of children's progress through checklists, progress notes, photographs and anecdotal records. * Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to work and play in. * Meet with parents to address any concerns or at parent's request. Keep Principal informed about student concerns or difficulties. * Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child. * Meet weekly with the Assistant Teacher to discuss planning, activities, the children's development and any concerns. Discuss expectations, set guidelines and establish procedures for class organisation, discipline and daily schedules. * Render basic first aid as and when necessary. * Being responsible for the arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom. * Attend all teachers meetings and professional development sessions, and participate on committees and activity teams as required. Attendance is mandatory. * Work cooperatively with other staff/ teachers to ensure optimal benefit for children * Display a positive attitude, work cooperatively with other staff members and assist new teachers with settling in to MindChamps PreSchool * Other adhoc duties might be required as operational needs
PreSchool Assistant Teacher:
* Plan, supervise, and implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the centre * Assist in preparing and implementing the programs for children * Assist with planning, share ideas and exchange feedback with the entire team once a month or at the beginning of a Unit of Inquiry. * Prepare age and developmentally appropriate teaching aids. * Evaluate and maintain records of childrens development. * To render basic first aid as and when necessary. * Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, prepare art and craft materials, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom. * Use positive discipline techniques at all times. * Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,821.01 - $5,637.49 per month
