ABOUT THE ROLE
The NPI Engineer plays a crucial role in bringing new products to customers. You will be responsible for leading NPI projects from concept to mass production, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient manufacturing processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Leadership: Drive NPI projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, production, quality) to ensure successful product launches.
- Process Optimization: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, formulate work instructions, including production, secondary processes, testing, and packaging, to achieve output capacity and quality standards.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges during NPI, utilizing your expertise to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and engineering teams.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and FMEA reports.
CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3-5 years of hands-on NPI experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with precision components.
- Proven ability to lead and manage NPI projects.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience with Process FMEA and other quality tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (essential for communication with our international teams).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,800.00 - $4,500.00 per month
