We are seeking a seasoned Director, Global Project Management Office to lead our PMO initiatives across regions, working with team members in the US, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore. The ideal candidate will have extensive and recent experience in manufacturing or related industries and must have managed large-scale projects valued at over $10 million.

As the Global PMO leader, you will oversee the performance of multiple projects simultaneously and act as a subject matter expert in designing and implementing effective PMO processes to assess, prioritize, and govern all assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the PMO into a center of excellence for project management, providing guidance and coaching to new or less experienced project managers.
  • Establish competency requirements to qualify Project Managers.
  • Implement standardized practices, principles, and templates for project management.
  • Conduct regular project assessments to ensure compliance with PMO standards and templates.
  • Manage PMO reporting by gathering project data and producing actionable insights for management.
  • Track and monitor the status of all projects within the PMO, ensuring accurate and timely updates for management.
  • Define and maintain a project dashboard for clear tracking of project statuses.
  • Continuously enhance the project portfolio management (PPM) approach.
  • Maintain an up-to-date repository of active projects and requests awaiting review.
  • Manage resource capacity planning to ensure optimal allocation for current and future projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields. MBA or master’s degree preferred.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification required.

Experience Requirements:

  • 12 to 15+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • Extensive PMO experience in manufacturing or related industries.
  • Proven experience leading PMO teams regionally or globally.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets over $10 million.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in large-scale project management across industries is an advantage.
