Role Overview
We are looking for a molecular biologist with experience in machine learning. This hybrid role involves building and deploying AI models, with a focus on applying these models to molecular biology projects, particularly in the areas of longevity. The candidate should have extensive experience in AI model development, data engineering, and a strong commitment to thorough documentation and process management.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (ML Engineers, Data Scientist, Medical Advisors, Software Engineers) to ensure that our models are scientifically robust and effectively integrated into our broader research initiatives. The physics expertise within the team will play a crucial role in enhancing the accuracy and applicability of the AI models to our projects.
You will be working on projects that have clear objectives and specific goals. While there is room for creative freedom, our work is focused on systems biology simulations, modeling with various data types like clinical and omics data, and the development of an app. These projects are central to our mission, and we are looking for someone who can contribute effectively to these targeted efforts.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy custom AI models tailored to both general and molecular biology-specific needs.
- Create and maintain automated pipelines for data scraping, organization, and analysis, particularly for biological data.
- Maintain clear, organized documentation of all processes, models, and research activities.
- Contribute to the advancement of research in longevity by applying AI techniques to biological data, supporting ongoing studies, and exploring new applications.
Qualifications
- Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology with a strong interest in longevity, medicine, or related fields.
- 7-10 years of experience in machine learning, AI model development, and data engineering.
- Experience in molecular biology data analysis, with a focus on applying AI to biological research.
- Proficiency in Python and AWS, with experience in building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Strong documentation skills and an ability to manage complex processes with precision.
- Knowledge of front-end development or UX design is a plus.
- Physics knowledge is a strong plus but not required.
