- Conduct regular literature surveys of technologies for methane coupling by electrocatalysis and thermocatalysis
- Develop and execute experimental plans for reactor optimization and performance test experiments
- Conduct experiments to collect reaction kinetic parameters
- Characterizations of catalyst properties with various physical and chemical methods.
- Coordinate with vendors on reactor modification and improvement
- Presentation at regular project meetings and summarize results in reports
- Compile results for publications in scientific journals or patents
- PhD Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry or Applied Physics
- Knowledge of catalysis and a good publication record in catalysis is necessary. (Knowledge in both thermocatalysis and electrocatalysis is a bonus)
- Hands experience in the operation of fixed bed reactor and electrochemical cell.
- Proactive, team player and good problem-solving skills
- Data analysis and interpretation skills
- Excellent oral/written communication
- Willingness to learn new skills and explore new ideas
