Tech Expertise Meets Science: Technical Support Officer Needed!
Are you at the intersection of technology and life sciences? We’re seeking a Technical Support Officer to empower our lab team in the biomedical, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical science fields.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support during the preparation & delivery of classes in the laboratory & support the safe & proper use of laboratory assets.
• Provide support to academic staff members in supervision of students/participants during activities
• Ensure materials & equipment are prepared & in working condition prior to the laboratory sessions held within laboratories
• Perform basic troubleshooting in the event of an equipment fault & follow up with external vendor on the repairs
Provide assistance in administrative duties, sourcing of quotations, procurement of equipment & consumables for laboratories & assist in carrying out annual stock take of assets
Requirements:
• Higher NITEC/Diploma in Biomedical Science/ Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutical Science
• Able to work on weekends or Public Holidays to resolve issues within the facility when required
Working schedule:
Monday to Friday
