Job Description


The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) of the National University of Singapore is hiring one Research Fellow to assist the Principal Investigator in the Research Area of Concrete 3D printing with a focus on the durability, rheology, and sustainability.



The RF is required to work on;



(1) Development of durable construction materials from locally available resources for 3D printing,
(2) Assessment of environmental impact of the developed concrete mixture and
(3) Evaluation of the service life of the developed 3D concrete mixture.

Job Requirements


  • Possess a PhD degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Engineering with demonstrated experience in designing and conducting experiments, statistical data analysis and possess excellent quantitative, and analytical skills.
  • The ideal candidate is expected to be self-motivated and can work in an interdisciplinary environment. It is important that the candidate has an ability to work with minimal supervision, plan and perform experimental and field work, and present results in group meetings.
  • He/she will work in an international environment and, therefore, excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Prior experience in 3D concrete printing, durability test, low-carbon concrete are essential to the posted job.
  • Open to fixed-term contract.
