Overview:
As Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for our company's social media accounts. Your role will encompass various aspects, from conceptualization to filming, editing, and managing the accounts. We are looking for an intern to join us from Nov 2024 to Jan 2025.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy and Conceptualization
Brainstorm and develop creative ideas for content that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives.
Research trending topics, challenges, and formats on social media to inform content creation.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content is in line with overall marketing strategies.
Content Creation
Produce high-quality, engaging video content tailored for the various platforms.
Utilize various filming techniques, effects, and transitions to capture audience attention.
Incorporate relevant music, sounds, and trends to enhance content appeal.
Ensure content adheres to community guidelines and brand standards.
Video Editing
Edit videos using video editing software to enhance visual appeal and storytelling.
Add captions, text overlays, and graphics to optimize content for different platforms' format.
Experiment with different editing styles and techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.
Account Management
Take full ownership of managing our company's social media account.
Maintain a consistent posting schedule to keep our audience engaged and entertained.
Monitor performance metrics such as views, likes, shares, and comments to gauge content effectiveness.
Respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster community engagement and interaction.
Stay updated on trends, features, and algorithm changes to adapt content strategy accordingly.
Collaboration and Reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and social media, to align content with broader marketing initiatives.
Provide regular reports and insights on performance metrics, including audience demographics, engagement trends, and content effectiveness.
Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement based on data analysis.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a polytechnic or university, pursuing a diploma/degree in marketing, communications, film, media or a related field.
Strong creativity and storytelling skills with a passion for digital content creation.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Familiarity with social media platform features, trends, and best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
