Responsibilities
- In charge of all technical aspects of a Security and Surveillance project. This includes IT & systems, networking & infrastructure, cyber security, mechanical & electrical, as well as relevant experience in project management.
- Overseeing technical teams, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.
- Manage and participate in all aspects of the technical processes, from problem-solving and team coordination to the implementation of technical initiatives.
- Oversee quality control of all technical output and ensure all projects and procedures meet the required standards and are completed within the given timeline.
- Lead and work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, manufacturers, vendors, suppliers, contractors, and other project stakeholders, to define, develop and manage the technical aspects of project scope, project plans, project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date. Review all technical documentation and drawings of the project.
- Manage project change requests and scope creep, and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
- Work closely with project managers during all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Lead and initiate on all technical deliverables in the project, including design approval from the Authority/Agency, manage design approval process on time to resolve all technical issues, and ensures strict compliance of the design following the contractual requirements.
- Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across project phases.
- Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively.
- Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development, and systems integration.
- Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation.
- Identify resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning and manage software and hardware availability.
- Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members.
- Meet with client teams and gather requirements, conduct regular team meetings and track project progress.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, or a related technical field with 3 years of experience in project management or a similar role. Relevant experience in IT, systems, networking and cyber security will be an advantage
- Experience with the following is an added value
- Security and Surveillance Systems
- Frontend, Sensors, Private Network, VPN, IT & Cyber Security, Device Management Software, and Backend
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
- Having own transportation or possess a Class 3 license will be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Independent and strong team player with good organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
