Job Description

As an Automated Materials Handling System (AMHS) Technologist, you are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment and/or processes in your assigned area while working in partnership with production team members and area engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor tool performance

  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets

  • Use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to solve and repair equipment issues

  • Assist with equipment installs and tests

  • Build and modify equipment procedures

  • Increase tool uptime through systematic problem solving and quality workmanship

  • Thoroughly document all maintenance performed in established check sheets and tracking programs

  • Routine review of maintenance check sheets and procedures

  • Monitor, analyze and address SPC issues for area processes daily and respond to SPC out of control issues

  • Keep the AMHS Engineer and/or Lead Tech updated on tool and area issues

Requirements:

  • NITEC/Diploma in Mechatronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering etc.

  • Fresh graduates with no prior experience are welcome to apply!

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and looking for growth

  • Good communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Basic Python Programming

  • Comfortable with flexible working schedules in doing Rotating 12-hr shift

  • Able to work at height
