Delivery Driver (East - Loyang)

Responsibilities

Responsible to deliver
customer's orders promptly and according to their schedule
Good familiarity of Singapore
roads and commercial loading bay locations
Proficient in delivery route
planning and adapting to customer delivery timing and schedule
To verify goods loading daily
given by warehouse and ensure accuracy and matching with delivery orders
Ensure unloading and delivery
of goods to customers is verified according to delivery invoice
Ensure Cash on Delivery
payment is collected as stated on delivery invoice and returned to the
company by end of the day
Ensure returned goods by
customers are returned and validated by warehouse department
Responsible to keep the
assigned lorry in good condition, clean and tidy, and undergo regular
vehicle maintenance as required
To follow and adhere to the
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) defined for Delivery Drivers
stipulated by the company
To adhere to all traffic
regulations and maintain a safe driving record
Any other responsibilities as
assigned by the company


Job Requirements:

Class
3 driving license to drive 14ft box lorry.
Class
4 driving license and experience will be an added advantage
Experienced in
wholesale delivery will be added advantage
Minimum of
2 year(s) of relevant working experience.
Physically
fit to carry out daily tasks which involves loading and unloading of goods
to lorry
Familiar
with roads in Singapore
Good
English proficiency to read delivery orders and invoices to pick and
deliver goods
Good
customer service mindset, self-motivated, and able to plan delivery routes
