KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
  • Pro-actively support the Head of Investment Linked & HNW Products function to deliver the Life product strategy and roadmap via end-to-end product launches across both IFA and HNW channels as approved in the Business Plan.
  • Co-own product innovation and design discussions through regular workshops with partners and reinsurers, and support the Head of Investment Linked & HNW Product to align with all relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the product design and requirements comply with the MAS, Life Insurance Association, and the FWD policies/requirements.
  • Ensure product risks are promptly highlighted and addressed in agreement with second line of defence.
  • Collaborate with the wider product implementation workgroup to ensure products are successfully launched as per agreed roadmap.
  • Own the production of product collateral such as product specifications, contracts, product summaries etc and get it sign off by all departments.
  • Prepare product approval documents for local as well as Group office in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that the key product USPs are well articulated in the brochure or any other marketing efforts.
  • Produce good quality market research and comparisons to ensure that our products remain competitive.
  • Support in product related campaign / marketing initiatives in collaboration with the distribution teams.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • Degree-holder with at least 8 years of experiences in life insurance companies
  • At least 6 years’ experience in Life product development and management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY
  • Strong business acumen and communication skill, with proven ability to influence and work with business functions
  • Strong product development background and good knowledge of the savings, investment and protection product landscape in Singapore (at least 2 out of the 3 product categories would be required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
