Job Responsibilities

1.Responsible for taking off quantities, sourcing sub-contractors & suppliers, pricing and preparation of tender submission.

2. Administer all stages of the contract lifecycle, from pre-tender to project completion, including the preparation, negotiation, and overseeing of contracts.

3. Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and monitor project progress to identify and mitigate potential risks and deviations.

4. Prepare monthly progress claims, variation orders and payment to subcontractors

5.Work with the project management team to control costs, identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor project budgets. Produce quantity measurements, bills of quantities, cost estimates as required.

6. Prepare and monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for the project and adjust budget projections.

7.Work closely with the director, project teams and quantity surveyors to resolve any potential technical and contractual issues and ensure that all legal implications are properly reviewed and managed.

8. Assist in the resolution of claims and disputes, collaborating with legal teams and project stakeholders to reach fair settlements. Verify and certify claims submitted by contractors.

9.Stay updated with local regulations, ensuring that all contracts and project activities are in compliance with the legal and business requirements.

10.Maintain good relationship with client, consultants and subcontractors

Job Requirements

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

- Preferably with at least above 5 years of experience in construction.

- Well versed in both public and private sector conditions of contract and construction law of Singapore.

- In depth knowledge of standard contract forms used in Singapore such as PSSCOC/SIA

- Excellent written, communication and negotiation skills.
