As a Technical Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of property management and maintenance. You will work closely with property managers and maintenance teams to ensure that properties are well-maintained, efficient, and meet regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of building systems, technology infrastructure, and experience in implementing energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Property Management: Oversee the technical aspects of property management, including building systems, infrastructure, and maintenance protocols.
Maintenance Planning and Execution: Collaborate with property managers to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans, ensuring that building systems, equipment, and infrastructure are functioning optimally.
Energy Efficiency: Identify opportunities to optimize energy usage in buildings and implement sustainable solutions to drive energy efficiency and cost savings. Stay updated on energy regulations and rebates to maximize efficiency and compliance.
Vendor Management: Engage and manage relationships with service providers, contractors, and suppliers for technical maintenance and repairs. Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards.
Technical Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and assessments of properties to identify maintenance needs, potential risks, and compliance with technical standards and regulations. Develop action plans to address identified issues.
Budgeting and Cost Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the technical budget, monitoring expenses, and optimizing costs while maintaining quality standards.
Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and systems to enhance property operations, such as building automation, security systems, IoT devices, and energy management software.
Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements. Ensure properties comply with relevant standards and implement necessary remedial actions.
Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with property management teams, tenants, and other stakeholders to address technical issues, provide updates on maintenance projects, and ensure timely resolution of concerns.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of property maintenance activities, contracts, service agreements, and technical documentation. Prepare reports on building performance, maintenance activities, and expense tracking.
Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field with 3 years experience.
Proven experience in property management or technical maintenance roles.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
Familiarity with energy management systems and sustainability practices.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Proficiency in using property management software and tools.
Valid certifications in relevant technical areas (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus.
