About The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Stewardship & Events), the Senior Executive plays a critical role in fostering long-term relationships to support the effective engagement of donors and supporters.

The Senior Executive (Stewardship & Events) has primary responsibility for monitoring the administration of donated gifts and maintaining a registry of donated funds, in addition to supporting various stewardship and recognition initiatives for donors.

What you will be doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with relevant administrative offices and academic departments to ensure optimal utilisation and administration of donated funds in accordance with university policies and gift intent.
  • Develop and maintain a registry of donated funds using the donor database.
  • Work closely with the fundraising team to identify potential opportunities.
  • Review and implement database cleanup projects to enhance current work processes
  • Support the implementation and development of a cohesive and structured programme of stewardship and recognition for donors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
  • Able to read and interpret quantitative, qualitative data and financial information.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in records management or nonprofit management. Experience with Raiser’s Edge or other donor management software will be advantageous.
  • Experience in development of processes, procedures and internal guidelines.
  • Excellent organisation skills, resourceful and keen attention to detail.
  • Proven relationship-building, collaboration and cultivation of partners and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency with database management systems will be advantageous.
