About the Role
We are looking for someone who is keen to join us in advocating for a society where every migrant worker lives a life of health, well-being and dignity, through integrated marketing & communications (marcomms) and community engagement efforts. This position is part of our Corporate Services Team, which works closely with diverse stakeholders to bridge and build communities.
Responsibilities
Actively assist in developing and executing HealthServe’s integrated marcomms strategies and associated work plans aimed at advocating for migrant workers’ needs and well-being; engaging and growing the HealthServe community
Work closely with various services teams (i.e. medical, mental health, casework) to understand and address their needs through effective marcomms across channels (e.g. websites, social media, edm)
Drive the management and growth of the HealthServe brand and online community channels via the planning and implementation of an integrated digital marcomms strategy in line with HealthServe’s communications objectives
Actively support in the conceptualising, implementing, optimising and reporting of marcomms campaigns (e.g. fundraising, volunteer recruitment)
Engage or interview internal and/ or external stakeholders (e.g. migrant workers, donors, volunteers, translators as well as agencies/ vendors) where required
Actively support in planning and managing HealthServe’s community bridging events
Requirements/ Skills
At least 1-2 years working experience in any of the following functions: digital/ social media marketing, content marketing, public relations/ communications, journalism, events
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong in graphic design and/ or video production
Good interpersonal skills; enjoys interacting with people from different cultures and religions
Able to multi-task and work well with a diverse group of professionals from the public and private sectors as well as volunteers, donors and beneficiaries
Proficiency in Tamil/ Bengali/ Mandarin a bonus
Relevant experience in the social sector a bonus
Event management experience a bonus
Creative, self-motivated, resourceful
Strong team player
