Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Safe Technician to join our team. As a Safe Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of safes and vaults of all sizes. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, physical capability, and strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain safes and vaults, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard of safety and quality.
  • Safely maneuver safes of various sizes using basic hand tools and other equipment.
  • Install mechanical and electronic locking devices, rekey locks, duplicate keys, and pick locks to open safes or vaults with lost or broken keys.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all installations, repairs, and services performed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in safe installation and repair, locksmithing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools and equipment used in the installation and repair of safes and vaults.
  • Ability to operate both mechanical and electronic locking systems.
  • Ability to safely maneuver and transport heavy safes and vaults.
  • Valid driverâ€s license.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain clear and detailed records.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with safes, vaults, and locking mechanisms.

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work in various environments, including client locations, workshops, and in the field.
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy objects with the appropriate safety equipment.
