Key duties involve:

Leading, training, supervising, and mentoring teams in Facilities Management, Repair & Maintenance, Fire Command Centre, and Transportation.
Identifying and conducting necessary maintenance on buildings and facilities.
Performing regular inspections to assess facility conditions and recommend corrective actions.
Reporting deficiencies and coordinating emergency or routine service as needed.
Managing contractors to ensure they meet required standards.
Handling contract management, raising purchase orders (POs), and initiating renewals when necessary.
Managing administrative tasks, such as developing operational procedures, verifying invoices, tracking expenses, and assisting in budgeting.
Overseeing fire safety protocols within the nursing home.
Supporting process improvement and technology enhancement projects.
Supervising operations staff, including recruitment, discipline, and performance reviews.
Ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.
Coordinating timely service scheduling and ensuring vendors submit reports to MOHH IHAM before deadlines.

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Business, Building, Facilities Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Familiarity with regulations from government agencies (MOH, NEA, BCA, SCDF).
Strong report writing skills.
Ability to respond quickly to emergencies after office hours.
Experience in project management and budgeting.
Highly organized and able to work independently under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Forms).
