My client is seeking a proactive and meticulous Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of their Finance department, managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, and contributing to various financial projects.

Salary: Up to $6500 (with AWS and Variable Bonus)

Office Location: Pasir Panjang/Labrador Park

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the Finance team, covering Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and project-related functions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Oversee and control all receivables and payables efficiently.

• Prepare quarterly GST submissions and coordinate with tax agents for annual corporate income tax filings.

• Conduct annual and periodic fixed asset stock takes and asset verifications.

• Safeguard company assets by maintaining proper controls and supporting the Finance Manager in determining appropriate accounting treatments.

• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary to ensure timely completion of audits, tax filings, and corporate matters. Assist in preparing audit schedules and documentation.

• Assist the Finance Manager in annual budgeting and monthly cash flow forecasts and produce periodic management reports as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy with 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with audit experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation and project accounting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and MS Office applications.

• Meticulous, independent, responsible, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of integrity and commitment to delivering quality work.
