Production Technician (Scent & Care), Singapore
You will be responsible to perform production operations for Fragrances, Cosmetic Ingredients and Mint Products for Oral Care in accordance to safety guidelines, standard requirements and standard operation procedure (SOP) and these include electronic weighing scale and automated dosing machine operations, replenishment of raw materials, compounding, packing and labelling & documentation. You will be required to carry up to 25kg of materials, cleaning of drums and perform basic troubleshooting. You are expected to commit 2 weekly rotating shifts and comfortable working in a strong smelling environment. You will direct report to respective Production Shift Lead.
The Position:
To compound raw materials for Fragrances, Cosmetic Ingredients and Mint Products for Oral Care in accordance to work order with minimal supervision and wastage
To replenish raw materials and maintain at optimal level for production usage
To perform automated dosing machine and electronic weighing scale operations in a safe manner
To execute basic troubleshooting if required
To operate mechanical pumps and diaphragm pumps during production process and in transferring to respective drums
To perform cleaning for respective drums to prepare for packing process
To be trained to operate electric stackers and pallet jacks to transport materials to warehouse
To document and record packed drums and yield gains and losses
To perform production process in PPE and in accordance to work instruction and standard operation procedure.
The Ideal Candidate:
Diploma and/or Degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent field with min. 1 year of experience in Manufacturing Industry
At least limited working proficiency in English
A team player with positive attitude independent and committed
Meticulous, structured and attentive
Able to carry up to 25kg and withstand strong smelling environment
Willing to work weekly rotating shift including overnight shift
