Job Summary

We are looking for a specialist consultant having knowledge of financial markets, risk management concepts to provide effective support to the front office team. This will be an opportunity to be part of global team within Financial Markets.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance or a related discipline;
  • Proven experience with front office trading products - Derivatives / Credit Derivatives / Interest Rates Derivatives;
  • Experience in providing functional support to front office traders and risk management teams;
  • Hands on experience in IT Operations / Support including Functional support to end users;
  • Has analytical skills to identify root causes in workflows incidents which could be data, technical or functional issues;
  • Technical skills: Linux, python, scripting, SQL/Oracle, automated workflow orchestration tooling, affinity with modern distributed middleware;
  • A good team player, cross functional, enjoys interacting with people of all levels in a multicultural environment;
  • Excellent stakeholders management skills;
  • Proactive, good communication skills and attentive to details.

Desired Skill-set

  • Experience of supporting on real-position management system;
  • Familiarity with Datasynapse, Apache Ignite (GridGain), Google Cloud Platform, Docker and orchestration for it like Kubernetes or Openshift.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee production incidents arise during trading activities, lead incident resolution efforts, coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders to minimize disruptions;
  • Involved in providing functional support for the derivatives platform, ensuring smooth operation of real-time and intraday position management system during ASIA trading hours;
  • Drive effective problem management, ensure preventive and detective measures of the applications are identified and resolved through the backlog and communication/ dialogue with the Product Owner;
  • Implement and work with the latest tooling with a strong focus on performance, stability and security;
  • Find opportunities to automate the testing of existing features, performance, and security as well as the automation of deployments, monitoring, and more;
  • Perform Functional testing and Change Management activities to ensure the safe deliveries to Production environment;
  • Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to help user on system functionalities and reporting tools;
  • Work Closely with colleagues from other areas of expertise and take initiative in expanding knowledge (both within and outside of your area of expertise) that is relevant for the area in which you work.
