Position Objective:
The main objective is to manage the day to day running of the stockroom, from receiving, updating deliveries, maintaining store Plannogram & the replenishment process in the shop floor.
Key Activities:
• To set up displays of company products.
• Price stock as required
• To ensure that the products on the display shelves are in correct price.
• Ensure all promotions are effectively executed across all outlets.
• Ensure you have a complete understanding of all product, including up sell items, phone cards and items on promotions and are aware of new stock lines
• Maintain high stock levels of all product, ensuring all shelves are filled and restocked regularly
• Carry out manual handling and lifting duties as required
• Ensure the correct lifting procedures are adhered to at all times. E.g. bend knees, assess load and break the load down if necessary.
• Ensure to read and keep up to date on any company notices/memos or procedural changes
• Any other duties as required or as directed by Operations Manager
Hours of work:
• Working days: Monday – Friday
• Working hours: 8.15am - 6pm/ 9.15am - 7pm/ 10.15am - 8pm (8 working hours) rotating
*We will give ample of notice on working weekends and public holidays if required.
Requirements:
• Due to the nature of the business, you will be expected to work some weekends/ Public Holidays;
• Able to work at the designated WH Smith store at Changi Airport and warehouse at Changi North Street 1.
• Works well under pressure and tight deadlines
• Physically fit to lift and handle goods up to 30kg and able to manoeuvre heavy pallets of stocks through the facility.
