You will be working in a commercial kitchen preparing inflight meals for airline clients, with the following responsibilities:

Oversee the operations in Casserole Assembly for the dishing of airline meals
Retrieve pax loads from system (ICCMS) and assign dishing duties to dishing team in adherence to pax loads and flight schedule
Operations of metal detectors and casserole sealing machines

Monitor the operations and ensure timely completion of dishing
Conduct investigation on discrepancies, brief the team on discrepancies and work instructions
Plan the roster and deployment of staff
Monitor the work performances of employees and contractors and ensure adherance to food safety requirements and guidelines
Carry out ordering according to load requirements, follow proper stock control and rotation (adhere to FIFO)
Conduct training of new staff on dishing procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to use PCs and computer systems related to area of work (e.g. SAP, ICCMS), read computerised worksheets, check and respond to emails when on duty
Must be able to interpret airline menu summaries, ensure photo specifications are updated according to airline specification
Possess good knowledge of food hygiene and food handling procedures
Possess good decision-making, problem solving, communication and training skills
Comfortable with 6-days workweek and rotating shifts
