Job Summary:
As a Quality Technician, you will
be responsible for performing inspections using various gages and
equipment, documenting quality paperwork, and ensuring compliance with
Engineering Prints, Job Instruction Sheets, and QMS Instructions. You
will also support CORE, EH&S, and Continuous Improvement activities.
Job Description
Conduct inspections at first piece, in-process, and final stages according to Job Instructions Sheet plans.
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI in line with AS9102 requirements.
Utilize various inspection gages and equipment for dimensional inspections.
Initiate Quality Notifications (QN) for any non-conformance issues.
Properly use and maintain gages and inspection equipment.
Ensure accurate documentation, including stamping of quality paperwork.
Maintain and enhance 5S standards on workstations and in responsible areas.
Demonstrate strong communication skills and interact effectively with all levels of staff.
Adhere to company EH&S policies and Quality Policy.
Job Requirements
Minimum NITEC qualification in Precision/Mechanical Engineering or higher.
At least 2 years of working experience in a quality control environment.
Able to perform weekly rotating shifts.
