Job Description
Conduct wastewater sampling in pairs, including pre-sampling preparations and post-sampling activities such as decontamination of equipment and tools
Conduct other field operations such as site feasibility assessment for autosampler deployments, site investigation and safety/audit checks, as and when required
Deployment and de-commissioning of wastewater sampling equipment
Basic troubleshooting of autosamplers. Progressive training and familiarization of the equipment will be shared
Staff will be trained in principles and procedures of decontamination, safety and other biosafety considerations
Other ad-hoc operational matters, if required
Requirement:
Min A lvl/Higher NITEC
Comfortable working in the field and in handling wastewater with appropriate PPE and equipment, as and when required
Good awareness with a “Safety First” mindset
Proactive, independent and initiative in carrying out assigned tasks
Physically and mentally fit to perform heavy load duties
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment
Able to carry out field work on a daily basis
Possess a Class 3/3A driving license and experience in driving a van will be an advantage
