We are seeking a Senior Facilities Manager who is skilled in managing the facilities management team, overseeing building expansions, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities. This role involves strategic planning, budget management, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, while driving initiatives for expansion and efficiency.

Essential Job Responsibilities

1)Contractor and Vendor Management:

  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external contractors and service providers
  • Ensure that all third-party work is completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
  • Monitor contractor performance and address any issues promptly.

2) Expenditure and Budget Management:

  • Develop, manage, and monitor the facilities budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Approve and track expenditures related to facility operations, maintenance, and building projects.
  • Implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.

3) Operations and Building Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all company facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
  • Manage building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure timely repairs and upgrades.

4) Project Support and Building Expansion:

  • Provide project management support for facility-related projects, including renovations, upgrades, and expansions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute building expansions and other large-scale projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to company standards.

5) Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance and management of all mechanical and electrical systems within the facilities
  • Ensure compliance with all M&E regulations and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with M&E contractors and internal teams to address any issues or improvements.

6) Health, Safety, and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.

7) Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of facilities management professionals, including maintenance staff and technicians
  • Set performance goals, provide ongoing training, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure high standards of work.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Skills and Competencies Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7-10 years in facilities management with 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of building systems and maintenance, with experience in clean room environments, especially in the semiconductor industry.
  • Proficient in facilities management software and tools.
  • SCEM Certificate preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing projects and budgets effectively.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in vendor and contractor management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Preferably candidates with experience in Cleanroom Manufacturing
