The Payroll Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely salary payments. This role involves system maintenance, compliance with local laws and regulations, troubleshooting issues, and providing support for payroll-related queries. The successful candidate will ensure that all payroll activities are conducted efficiently and securely, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy at all times.



Responsibilities:

Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Payroll by checking daily attendance.
Handle staff resignation and income tax related matters.
Support in administration of staff benefits includes reimbursement, update of Annual Leaves, Medical Leaves & etc.
Process monthly and advance payments for employees.
Check, update and manage leave / MC applications of employees.
Check and verify deductions and liquidated damages bills.
Check and prepare salary requisitions.
Check and process NS make up claims/ Childcare claims / reimbursement requests.
Update employee’s monthly union membership.
Manage employee grievance and performance on a timely basis.
Conduct home leave interviews.
File IR21 & IR8A.
Perform any other duties assigned by Payroll Manager.

Requirements:

Min Diploma in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 1 year of payroll administration experience, preferably in a similar role.
Must have good knowledge in MOM regulations.
Competent in handling full spectrum of payroll work
Able to handle high volume of payroll
Office located next to Joo Koon MRT
