JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking tasks as directed by Superior
Help with packing and portioning food items according to the daily production schedule.
Handling of meat products, seasoning, panning and sauce making.
Inspect meat and vegetables products to ensure food safety compliance and non-conformance products are isolated/discarded.
Monitor and perform simple machinery operations.
Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies and ingredients in the correct storage areas.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is an advantage or at least 1-year experience in central kitchen
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
A team player with good communication skills and also be able to work independently
Must follow strictly to SOP, Safety & Hygiene and Halal regulations
Work on weekend required (including Public Holiday)
Able to work at least 60 hours per week
